Letter from Cream's Parents:
Teacher Fanny, the most impressive first mentor of Cream (our daughter). Remember that before she was yet to turn two (2), I came across an online Ad. that offered volume discount to pre-schoolers co-joining an adaptive class. Boldly together with another friend, I tried our luck to see if Cream could be admitted. And it turned out to be an opportunity for having this first mentor for Cream.
Why? Gladly we saw how Cream walked into the classroom with her companion on the first day, without crying nor resistance. Through the glass window on the door, we could see the process of how she learned. How she moved a chair for the teacher, and how she picked up small tasks such as frying an egg. Then, she made some snacks and then tried it herself. Every time she came home, she would happily share her classroom experience. I was so glad to see how she cheerfully and gradually grew up.
Another thing in particular that I like about teacher Fanny was that she would proactively talk to us parents about the shortcomings and advantages of our child after each class, so that we could cope with her by guiding our child at home.
For almost two years, Teacher Fanny became the first Mentor of Cream who often mentioned the Teacher’s name and shared with her grandma bits and pieces about what Fanny had taught her.
During the K1 interviewing process, Teacher Fanny gave me a lot of advices, whereas Cream was able to attain a place at each and every kindergarten she had applied for. Now Cream has been transferred into an international school to study K1, showing strong adaptability with strong learning skills. She is still mentioning frequently Fanny's classroom!
From a father of a boy:
We feel so lucky to have met teacher. Our son was extremely active since early childhood. As parents, we both have to work. He spent most of his time playing by himself, and it was difficult to enable him to sit still when needed.
We have tried hiring some teachers to read and play games with our child before, but they all said it was too hard to calm him down to finish the board games. When we first invited Teacher Fanny teacher to come to our home to deal with our child, although his cooperation was still low in the first few classes. But under the guidance of Teacher Fanny, he gradually sat down and was willing to complete every desktop activity. In addition, Teacher Fanny would give us feedback proactively after each class. She would teach us how to guide our children and to arrange the home environment accordingly. Thus, as parents, we also benefit greatly.
During the epidemic, Teacher Fanny was unable to visit our home. But our child often mentioned her, and was eager to have her come to play with him.
The teacher also taught the him some Cantonese. Although our family communicates mainly in English and Mandarin, our child is willing to speak Cantonese now. We are indeed gratified.
